Boarding School Guardianship
UK boarding schools require international students under 18 to have a guardian based in the UK. We act in that role for families living overseas, and are the school's local point of contact throughout the school year.
What guardianship covers
- A named guardian and a UK point of contact for the school
- Vetted host family accommodation for exeats, half terms and holidays
- Transfers between the school, the host family and the airport
- Attending school events and meetings on the family's behalf where needed
- Support if a student is unwell or an urgent situation arises
Safeguarding first
Every host family and member of staff we place a student with is recruited and checked under our child protection and safeguarding policy. Our full policy set is published under Our Policies.
