University January Entry
A number of UK universities run a January intake as well as a September one. It suits students whose results arrived late, who needed longer to prepare, or who decided on the UK after the main application round had closed.
What to know
- Not every university or course offers a January start
- Timescales are shorter, so applications and any visa process need to move promptly
- Accommodation availability differs from the September intake
